  1. Welcome Nice begining
  2. Thanks to you all... You've create a masterpiece.. the ultimate "voice tool" for dalek builders .. it's making our creations "alive" .. really.
  3. At last i've installed the Martmod Mk5 ... and it's incredible .. no more feedback, a more clearer sound ... I can't wait to test it this week end at the maker faire Thanks again Vince, it worth, at least, twice the price i've paid.
  4. The martmod Mk5 is the modulator's "roll royce" ... Thanks for all involved in its development

  6. Here are some pictures taken at the "Doctor Who day" november 27th in Lyon
  7. i haven't test it rolling all day long lol, all the systems must use a lot of power , especially when i'm in. It can be a good test
  8. Mine are 60ah and they have enought power for at least 4 days . Eye Light on for 10 to 12 hours a day , 4/5 runs into the convention per day , using the martmod, Turning the head etc . . .
  9. Yes i forget to mention it, sorry !
  10. Directly from Vince
  11. Yesterday i have receive the Martmod mk5.1 What a wonderful piece i only have to redo all the wiring lol ..can't wait to test it ! For the Mk3 owners they are identical in size
  12. it was worth it, your dalek is great
  13. Good catch ! For mine i was quite Lucky too, i've fond the wheelchairs for almost nothing (6€ and 26€) the batteries where dead in the first one but in good condition in the second. For another builder i've found batteries for less than 100€ each . I was an intensive 1week search to find them .
  14. Nothing really big, just add the details on the slats using heads from upholstery tacks Tomorrow i'll go to a "Doctor who day" in Lyon with Caan ... can't wait
  15. thanks yep it's good to found other people as crazy as me lol we are the Skaro's french kult

Saturday spent fixing first bit of 6mm bendy mdf to my shoulder frame, I had a couple of clamps but a friend lent me about 8 and needed every one. My son in law loaned me his multi tool which cut like a dream, however, he needs it for work so had to give it back so went to Wickes and bought one for £25, a bit cheaper than his top of the range model but it still does a great job. Have fibre glassed my dome plug after waxing the he'll out of it, fingers crossed it will come off ok.

My dalek will have a name, talking to my friend about old films, and we talked about the  Eiger Sanction, and came up with the name Hemlock, so now my half finished skirt, nearly fully sanded dome plug and shoulder frame has a name...Hemlock
