  1. I have all the angles on Autodesk inventor, if anyone still requires them I can make up some PDF drawings?
  2. Started to make some resin castings for the slats, still not happy with the 24 large slat design, going to hollow the back out to save weight and "better" the fixing domes. Neck ring around about made. That's the lot for now, It is further on with the Gun sourced, Eye stalk etc still wet in castings, Moflashes sourced and also being cast for future use etc etc. Be back soon, started painting too!
  3. Taken the chair off and mounting it to the motorized base, this actually changed as the center of gravity was to far back and I wanted it to be quickly taken down into sections for easyier transport etc. Popped down to Cardiff to check out some dimensions. Offered up some sections including the foam plug i made for the shoulder section, this later changed to a fiberglass ready made one i found off eBay! Vacuum formed the Hemisphere's, a number of modifications where needed but I got a satisfactory result in the end. These are very good as they are strong ( 1.5mm smooth ABS) relatively cheap and fairly quick to make, but most importantly for me actuate and light weight. Found this beaut on eBay, wasn't going to outsource items to start with but once I did I couldn't stop!! I just want it finished soon so I can start on the Davros chair to chase my son around in.
  4. I started off, on 22nd September 2016 with the fender, made from aluminium sheet, press braked into profile, cut to angles and welded inside to maintain the cut lines. Note I haven't buffed it down pre paint as it will get knocked and scratched many times over the coming weeks. Looking at the fit over the power chair I have purchased for the build, I got this for a bargain price of £135.00 on the basis I could drive to Huddersfield that day to collect. Timber 6.5mm plywood skirt, Challenging when mounting some of the "X Factor" Dalek miters. Skirt done, well fixed anyway and the holes cut in for the Hemi's Also, started the Dome plug from foam, plaster then a former around to achieve the shape.
  5. Hi, I have been building my Dalek for around three months now, Not constantly I will add, only really a couple of hours a week. I am however getting towards the final stage of assembly and paint having produced, sourced, printed, casted or made the required parts. One point to mention, on almost everything I have produced I can multiply, i.e help others out with casting, printing, vacuum forming etc... I will add some pictures from hopefully the oldest first.
  6. I got mine off eBay, £20.00 all in posted. if Moflash are out and don't know when they will be making more, I could cast some using clear resin? I might try this anyhow to how to see how they turn out.
  7. Hey guys, I have added some new posts today including the neck ring moulds, slats 1, 2 & 3 etc on a 2005 series Dalek Build. All in STL files ready for you to download and print, and of course for free.
  8. I have been designing parts for a life size 2005 Dalek which I am in the process of building with my son. I have been drawing up, from Project Dalek plan PDF's 3D printable Dalek complex parts, the Eye, Plunger etc and I am adding new ones daily. You can download and print them here http://www.thingiverse.com/Snape757/designs for free. If anyone would like to see something else, or another part I might be able to help with the design of, just ask, I use Autodesk Inventor and most of all it's a hobby, so I'm not charging!

Looking for the close up photo of the portable graphic equaliser deck that Nick Briggs use's with his Moog MF102. Somewhere out there, I have seen this photo of him sitting at a table with the graphic equaliser, to fine tune in the sound of the Moog. Could be used as a reference photo if allowed on the Forum.

I finally received the Workshop Manuel today! Now all I have to do is study it. Hopefully I'll start a build diary by the summer.
