  9. Hi folks as usual I am looking for help/advice .My problem is I made my Dalek R/C by using a sabertooth controller ,the thing is although it works fine after a few teething problems I can,t use the voice mod to control the speech and work the flashing/Sync dome lights as i am obviously outside the Dalek controling it .So i decided to make another base with is motorised using another wheelchair the trouble here lies when i get inside the thing to opperate i find it more than ni on impossible to move myself inside thats once i have chewed my wick out trying to get inside the thing .I guess the main problem is im well passed my youth at 62yrs old plus i,m now on the wrong side of 15 stones. So the question is can i use a radio mic setup to make the voice & domelights work when in the R/C base,if anyone knows if its possible and what setup would i use and will i need any mod doing to the Mk5 voice modulator thanks for reading cheers Brian

Sorry it has taken so long to respond but I thought I received an email notification when someone posted something, but obviously that is not the case.

Saturday spent fixing first bit of 6mm bendy mdf to my shoulder frame, I had a couple of clamps but a friend lent me about 8 and needed every one. My son in law loaned me his multi tool which cut like a dream, however, he needs it for work so had to give it back so went to Wickes and bought one for £25, a bit cheaper than his top of the range model but it still does a great job. Have fibre glassed my dome plug after waxing the he'll out of it, fingers crossed it will come off ok.

My dalek will have a name, talking to my friend about old films, and we talked about the  Eiger Sanction, and came up with the name Hemlock, so now my half finished skirt, nearly fully sanded dome plug and shoulder frame has a name...Hemlock
