It’s taken years of patient practice and experience. I’m happy to say my present wrapping ability has reached a new level of ineptitude. Christmas Greetings to one and all.

Mirror in the bathroom didn’t break! Just prised it off the wall, sometimes you have to love shoddy build practises.

How hard is it to find a combined sink & countertop without splashback!

Cutting out the drywall seems a better bet for expediency, once the mirrors taped up.

This was supposed to be a quick upgrade as a trial run for the other bathrooms!

Happy to have seen a Dalek exterminate a T-rex that was after the baby Jesus! I love BBC.

Plunger 2.0 in its mold and curing! This time, it's shore A70, and not flopsie-dopsie A30.

Could be we don't want 1.0, having seen the picture. Sorry to laugh at your expense, but Aleyna found it hysterical - and her laugh is infectious.

It's a pretty pathetic plunger, no? :D The others have turned out incredibly well, though. Can't wait to post about them!

Plan for the day.....Bottlebank, Tree (Home Depot) & remove tiles.

    Tree achieved!

    Tiles removed from wall.

Tile sliver to "fit" the floor gap cut.

Bridging piece between vanity & wall still curing.

Explaining to Hoofy the theory of why Christmas Lights fail & listening to her complaints as she tries to find the elusive blown bulb - Priceless!

...But I must say I do enjoy the smell of sawdust in the morning. If that's not weird, of course...

    Surfboard foam dust sounds awful!

I love the smell of cedar and fir trees!

Surfboard dust is great if you want to ice skate in warm weather in your tennis shoes.

Non-Dalek Question: Has anyone seen the CyberMat prop from "Closing Time?" I am looking to make one, but un-sure of the measurements I made from screen caps? Can anyone help me out?

Sadly having to put my build on indefinite hold. Been no progress for months, and money/space has just been too tight. *sigh*

What a bodge job the builders did in fitting the units & floor tiling in afterwards.

the more expensive unit larger unit (without the top\sink) will have to be bought.

Some packing on the side & rear walls to bring it forward, a one piece toe kick & decorative moulding.

This is just the kids bathroom.

I'm definately going to have to fit in the larger units in the utility & the en-suite.

Unit bought & after much faffing about with wood & stain purchases discovered laminate flooring offcut was a perfect match for the toekick.

The Dremel's first use made it's purchase worthwhile.

    Grrrrr!

Choice of two vanity units for a bathroom......One covers more of the "craftsmanship" (I use that word reluctantly), will cost me more but save time.
