I like the supreme Dalek in "Planet Of The Daleks" in the same way I like old VW Beetles: Very crude and absolutely ridiculous by today's standards but there's something about it's charm and ridiculousness that makes me appreciate the difficult times when it was put together...

IMO, it represented the low point in Who "effects". Seemed to me the team couldn't be bothered.

I think it might have been more to do with the economic unrest during the time it was made i.e. 1973, high rates of inflation, industrial action etc etc. Plus the Three Day Week was only a few months away! We could be heading back there the way things seem to be going at the moment!
