NSD Dome No Groves Pepakura file

New version of the NSD Dome. this one is designed to work as a plug, for people who want to make a mould and cast their dome. The groves have been removed, as these are best added to the inside of the mould once it has been made. the detail indents have also been removed to make a clean dome which will come out of a hard (plaster of glass) mould with little trouble. one of each of the detail indents have been included so these can be made into their own moulds for adding to the dome later. I have also included a profile tool for correctly profiling the eye hinge supports.

Pepakura file for the front half of the NSD eye ball......I have not modelled the half dowels around the outside or the grub screws. I did look at doing that but I think these details would be better added using more conventional methods.

NSD Neck Cage Pepakura file

Pepakura file for the NSD neck cage. This file also includes a template for internal stiffeners for the rings. use this template to cut a number of stiffeners from box cardboard, possibly suggest 2 between the struts per ring. this will help the rings keep their shape during the resin and glassing stage.

Classic Dalek Pepakura files

Papakura files for the classic Dalek. I have used most of these for my own build, still undecided if I will use the shoulders or make them in a more traditional way. The eye is my own slightly quirky design, although the size is correct, I have enhanced it a bit. The eye is only the front section I used the skirt hem for the back, which works well. The skirt hem is much deeper than is needed, so it will have to be cut down to the correct height, depending on what style of attachment you will be using. For the skirt hems I made this up and made a plaster mould of it. them knocked them out in paper mache, which works well.

Moflash lenses appear to be slightly difficult these days. the best bet in my opinion is 3D printing them. there are many accurate models here that can be printed on any FDM printer you can find. there is a chance that you can find the lenses online to buy, but those sites can be slightly sketchy. depending on the filament you buy and the printer you have/find, they can be produced fairly accurately. filament can come as cheap as 17 dollars, but do keep in mind that they can some -

Thanks for uploading these files. Printed really nicely with the odds and sods of filament I had around and very pleased with it, haven't done any tidying up or painting but it looks great as-is.
