My Imperial Dalek

Thats a nice imperial, Imperial.

Is it a modification on the plans of the classic dalek or is it from some of those facts/figures of the imperials which have been bouncing around now and again?

Very nice! Doesn't look like a modification of a Shawcraft-type to me, looks like the real deal! But what do I know ... I'm making a McCoy Renegade at the mo, and my mate Dave's keen to start on an Imperial soon (once all my moulds are finished, the lazy little beggar...), so brain-picking time: what colour is your Dalek, Imperial?

I've got the exact paint names jotted down somewhere. Which are you after, the cream or the gold?

Yep this is matt from the DBG, and it's a TPE :)

Like I posted elsewhere on this forum, this Imperial dalek is the best I have seen so far, after looking through dredges of web sites and the occasional real-world sighting.

I'd really love to someday create a dalek like that.

Remembrance and it's imperials marked (in my mind) the most radical departure from the classic dalek design (until the '05 season) and this is one amazing model to say the least.

From original moulds (NOT TPE IMPERIAL) this is my new Imperial

Some interesting points are

Dome has dimple area for rod to go through

neckbin has 6 slot areas removed for visibility, has correct top part of neck for metal frame also

shoulder section taken from original mould

plunger is taken from an original

eye stalk taken from original

only thing that isn't is the skirt section, which I'm thankful for as i wouldnt be able to get it through my door else
