      I find an Endoscope with Screen invaluable for covering my blind spots.

      I have been paying £12-£20 for these - now just £7 on Amazon!

      The combined screen and endoscope means no connection issues.

      Charges on USB C so can be plugged into a powerbrick while in use.

      My bigger/costlier ones white out in bright sunlight or become useless in dark interiors.

      These cheap and cheerful models seem unaffected by either of those extreme light conditions so I'll order another one for Two Zero's back up cam.

      I've left the originals in too, which work in normal daylight and interior light.

      Had a great 3 days for Sci-Fi Scarborough, covered several miles up and down the seafront plus a lot of patrolling the venue, finished every day on 100% battery power!
      Several issues need to be resolved though;

      1 - a bit of front bumper support fell off as I loaded
      2 - hatch corners are disintegrating
      3 - better positioning of screens inside
      4 - increased interior storage
      5 - make a larger headset for the new mic
      6 - improve layout of cockpit for powerbricks & iris control

      For a Dalek built in 2020 that has carried out 49 missions, most of those over 8 hours, many 2 days and often outside, it's not doing badly!

      This year on 28/29th June Fairytale Farm (www.fairytalefarm.co.uk) are holding a sci-fi weekend and we need daleks and any other sci-fi characters and models to attend.   Fairytale Farm is run by a friend of mine and is a special place where families that have a disabled child are catered for along with the rest of their family. This year they have been in the press for opening an accessible crazy golf attraction.   It just happens that Nick who owns the park is a huge Dr Who fan and likes having us there so much, we get very well looked after with drinks, cake, ice-cream and (normally) meals included. I haven't checked with him yet, so gave him the opt-out there.   We camp onsite for the weekend and it's a really good opportunity to get together for a chance to socialise and meet their visitors.   It would be amazing if anyone is available to come along to somewhere that is more special than most venues, for what they provide to these families that are often not catered for.   Nick bought the farm and set the place up when his work in theme park planning, having a disabled daughter and contacts in the industry all came together in a lightbulb moment.  He had nowhere to take his family that would entertain them all and cater for Olivia too.  So like you would, he buys a farm and creates somewhere that does all this.  Financially I don't know how he manages, the animals need feeding every day, the public want to see something new and right now even Merlin Entertainments are struggling.  Attending this event raises the profile of the place and by collecting for a local children's charity, we also help out some less well off children.   Meet some new friends in the hobby, raise some funds and better some children's lives, what else do you need?   The venus is on the outskirts of Chipping Norton.

      Do you have a mini router? If you do, you can make a v template, put a bearing guided cutter in and just trace the clamped template in each location. Save a lot of time.

      The Mk6 is no longer available. There is a DIY build we call the DVM7, and a pre-built next gen voice mod you can purchase called the DVM8. I see you’re in the US. You can DM me if you’d like details.  Or check out this thread.
