Dalek Two Zero
I find an Endoscope with Screen invaluable for covering my blind spots.· 0 replies
I have been paying £12-£20 for these - now just £7 on Amazon!
The combined screen and endoscope means no connection issues.
Charges on USB C so can be plugged into a powerbrick while in use.
My bigger/costlier ones white out in bright sunlight or become useless in dark interiors.
These cheap and cheerful models seem unaffected by either of those extreme light conditions so I'll order another one for Two Zero's back up cam.
I've left the originals in too, which work in normal daylight and interior light.

Been thinking about the LED's The 555 timer board has a flashing LED that is connect to the power supply. Then flashes on the Off cycle of the timer. SSR has a visible red LED that flashes on the On cycle of the timer. Maybe some noise is here if the 555 LED is sending false signals to the SSR signal input LED. Their is currently no diode between the timer and the SSR. The flyback diode between anode and Kathode terminal of the SSR got removed. Only the Ultra Fast diode is still connected between Kathode terminal and ground to help provide reverse polarity protection and over voltage protection. -

New wiring for the plunger direct to the F-15 stick and wiring of the video cable from the camera through the slip ring including the quick connect at the eyestalk base is now complete Here's a quick video showing operation of the plunger via the flt control stick IMG_0527.mov All that remains is to mount the eyeball camera monitor just above the plunger and re assemble the dome and Nim is done! -

Alright, now all those 2 dimensional pieces are a 3 dimensional object! It's finally looking like something, other than a stack of lumber. The next step is to start mounting the skirt panels. It's getting exciting...
