Dalek Two Zero
The problem I'm having with 3 Daleks is space, shuffling them around between trailer & garage to allow work on them each.· 0 replies
I need the wreck out of the trailer to work on Two Zero (I should be able to work on it in the trailer, it's the front bumper that needs repairing).
I need the dome and plunger from the wreck for the new Dalek, then to replace the dome and appendage on the wreck - but that can go on a back burner, the wreck can stand down till the other two Daleks are both fixed/completed.

Dalek Two Zero
I find an Endoscope with Screen invaluable for covering my blind spots.· 0 replies
I have been paying £12-£20 for these - now just £7 on Amazon!
The combined screen and endoscope means no connection issues.
Charges on USB C so can be plugged into a powerbrick while in use.
My bigger/costlier ones white out in bright sunlight or become useless in dark interiors.
These cheap and cheerful models seem unaffected by either of those extreme light conditions so I'll order another one for Two Zero's back up cam.
I've left the originals in too, which work in normal daylight and interior light.

Hi all I'm putting the shout out for some Daleks & costumers for Smallspace 12, run by Mat Irvine. The date set for this year's event is Sunday the 13 July held at the Village hall, Newport Rd, Hanslope, Milton Keynes MK19 7NZ Most of you will know Mat from his BBC days as a special effects supervisor/model maker, who worked on Dr who, Blake 7 and may other wonderful shows back in the 70s & 80s. Smallspace is one of 3 shows Mat runs through the year but Smallspace is dedicated more to SciFi, where the other two and more model related. Smallspace had become a very popular show for us SciFi enthusiasts, which has a fantastic atmosphere. There will be displays of props & models from various exhibitors along with a few guests. Mat will also be dislaying some of his Sci Fi related screen used props, from the various show he's worked on over the years. As mentioned Mat is looking for some Daleks, along with any costumers for the outside displays. The event brings in a fair amount of the public so its great to have Daleks etc and other costume characters to meet & greet, or just display. Mat has not set a number of required Daleks for the event as he likes to use the phrase, you can't have enough Daleks lol. This is a one day event only so if anyone is interested please PM me or sign up here, and I'll have you added to the events list of attendees. Kind regards Steve -

I've modified the model to make the Specialist Models props built for "The Parting of the Ways". See if you can tell which one is MT1. -

Hi @Aussie Kev yes the video totally blew my mind too. i am using 2 speakers each side of the dalek The amplifier is just a small cheap Chinese one One speaker to one output channel. At 12v with 8 ohm speaker it states 15W max power and my speakers are only 10W but as long as I don't put it on full volume it ought to be OK, that is the theory anyway. I was testing it earlier and it seemed OK, maybe it was just a case of one of the amps got turned down while we were on our test drive. I will have to try it again. -

Alrighty. So update on this. Not quite going for the same as the playsuit. But found one of the old voice changer helmets. Gonna 3d scan and print out a rear for that. And see about making a dalek to carry on from that helmet. Yeah its gonna be stretched out a bit but it should do the trick aha.
