Dalek Two Zero
The problem I'm having with 3 Daleks is space, shuffling them around between trailer & garage to allow work on them each.· 0 replies
I need the wreck out of the trailer to work on Two Zero (I should be able to work on it in the trailer, it's the front bumper that needs repairing).
I need the dome and plunger from the wreck for the new Dalek, then to replace the dome and appendage on the wreck - but that can go on a back burner, the wreck can stand down till the other two Daleks are both fixed/completed.

Dalek Two Zero
I find an Endoscope with Screen invaluable for covering my blind spots.· 0 replies
I have been paying £12-£20 for these - now just £7 on Amazon!
The combined screen and endoscope means no connection issues.
Charges on USB C so can be plugged into a powerbrick while in use.
My bigger/costlier ones white out in bright sunlight or become useless in dark interiors.
These cheap and cheerful models seem unaffected by either of those extreme light conditions so I'll order another one for Two Zero's back up cam.
I've left the originals in too, which work in normal daylight and interior light.

Indeed it was water based. The problem I’ve had with oil-based gloss in the past is dust/pollen speckling the surface. Indoors it’s dust; outdoors, where I take most of the photos, we’re sat under trees, and there’s a constant drift of goodly nature dust. -

@gazzer23 Feeding one line level source to two separate amplifiers should work. (There are all sorts of other combinations that have issues such as trying to combine two line level signals into a single amplifier typically will not work without a 'combiner' but that's not what you're trying to do.) A wiring diagram, showing how you're logically connecting things would help us diagnose what may be going on. As would some specifications on the amplifier and speakers you're using. -

If the previous coat was water based gloss, I'd highly recommend recoating all the hemis with a couple of coats of oil based gloss. It's shinier, tougher, and more authentic. -

Lower collar sprayed and lacquered: And the skirt: Next step – removing the masking from the hemis. I'm expecting to have to do some retouching....
