Well, as long as the freeloading flies don't add too much weight, I'll go oil-based gloss. Started removing the masking tape. It's not that it's pulling off the old gloss: it's more a problem of small slivers of tape remaining stubbornly stuck around the edges, so I have to pick them away with a toothpick; and adhesive residue being left all over the surface. This residue is quickly removed with a degreaser – but 'quickly x 56' is still some time...

We do well on Getty Images at this event. Only thumbnails are free, though a larger preview has the Getty Watermark, Here are some halves of the higher res images without the watermark...! For any Daleks who want a professional photographer to tail them, Sci-Fi Scarborough has always delivered...!
