Dalek Two Zero
Spent the afternoon fixing and painting Two Zero's bumper - it looks less saggy· 0 replies

I have an ambitious project in mind for 1/60th scale models, which is what I estimate to be the scale for D&D.· 2 replies
(5ft being scaled down to 1 inch.)
I would like to know whether I should document this process if I make a custom design using the measurements on this site, as I would be using custom shoulders for the sake simplicity.
The below image (by MightyOtaKing on DeviantArt) should give a reasonable idea for how these custom shoulders would look:

Dalek Two Zero
Right, wreck is in the shed. I'm using the dome on my TV Invasion build, but will have to change the light covers and paint the eye silver.· 0 replies
I'm also taking the plunger off it.
Hope to be able to try and straighten Two Zero's bumper while it is in the trailer.

What does everyone end up doing with their rejected parts? I've got one and a half failed skirt sections that are all sorts of "dimensionally transcendent" that are just lying around rent-free in my garage. I'd feel bad about binning them outright, but they're no use to my current build as they are. Any suggestions?· 2 replies

Thanks again for such kind words, and also for the pictures Ian. I’m really pleased to have them on display as they have been stored in bits for ages. I think that is the first time the full saucer commander has been stacked up for ten years, whilst the other combinations are ‘new’. There was a bit damage here and there, including a bit at the front of the DP skirt which unfortunately I didn’t spot in time. The lower half of the Power Dalek isn’t actually mine, it has been borrowed from @Dano for the display. Fortunately, the two silver paints seemed a good match for each other! Alas, that has taken a bit of a scuff too. Why is it always the front rather than the back that this seems to happen to?🤔 Love that Resurrection Dalek! I think the weathered look really suits this colour scheme.
