I have an ambitious project in mind for 1/60th scale models, which is what I estimate to be the scale for D&D.· 2 replies
(5ft being scaled down to 1 inch.)
I would like to know whether I should document this process if I make a custom design using the measurements on this site, as I would be using custom shoulders for the sake simplicity.
The below image (by MightyOtaKing on DeviantArt) should give a reasonable idea for how these custom shoulders would look:

Right, wreck is in the shed. I'm using the dome on my TV Invasion build, but will have to change the light covers and paint the eye silver.· 0 replies
I'm also taking the plunger off it.
Hope to be able to try and straighten Two Zero's bumper while it is in the trailer.

What does everyone end up doing with their rejected parts? I've got one and a half failed skirt sections that are all sorts of "dimensionally transcendent" that are just lying around rent-free in my garage. I'd feel bad about binning them outright, but they're no use to my current build as they are. Any suggestions?· 2 replies

Welcome Malcolm, I would advise plenty of reading - there is so much to digest but it’s all good advice and methods here - and plenty of people to ask if you have a query - it’s a sometimes frustrating but very rewarding process - good luck ! 😉 -

I had a metal frame made to do that to both of my NSD’s each different as the chairs were different. I have used timber and brackets on my TDP - it’s a bit of a faff to dismantle but it seems to be ok
