@Galifreyscall it worked out really well! I only did it because my sanding sealer ran out, and I always have resin/acetone to hand.   Use a heat gun to get any moisture out of the wood, then soak it in in several goes. I had some trouble with a bit of the plywood veneer peeling/crumbling away at the pointy edge, and going a bit stringy, but it's stable now the resin has soaked in. Still not very pretty, but the filler should bond to it nicely, being polyester based as well.   Hope this helps!

Hello!    I recently got into Doctor Who about 3 months ago and went into the whole rabbit hole of both classic and modern eras. I started watching 12th Doctor era and then quickly became fascinated with daleks. Further into my rabbit hole, I found out that Peter Capaldi is a huge Doctor Who fan so I am going to make a custom (budget) dalek name "Dalek PCAP."    I do not have the materials yet as I currently have no budget, but I have a concept art and inspiration photos that made me want to start this project soon! Will make more updates once I earned enough money and find a space to build it.    I have 0 building experience, but I am very excited to start this fun rocky personal project!     Concept Art:   Photo Inspirations:
