For some reason I can't fathom _ I'm not able to upload the image of the finished Shawcraft MK1 ? Anybody got any ideas what I'm doing wrong - says "You did select any file to upload. Please contact us for assistance" Puzzling!· 3 replies

Dalek Two Zero
New eye installed!· 0 replies
I love the iris effect, though it isn't always smooth or responsive.
The eyecam is a 5mm endoscope hidden in the surround.
The eye light sadly has 2 of the 6 LEDS not working strongly.
Still need to complete the installation of the controls inside the Dalek.

Thanks @Bodule I had a feeling this was the case. No problem, I was just curious. -

This question is covered in the DVM7/DVM8 Feature Comparison post in the section "Customisation and programming:" * The DVM7 is intended to be modifiable and customisable by the user. The source code is provided and can be edited and changed as desired by the user. If a feature is missing or you want to change how the DVM7 works you are free to do so. * The DVM8 is intended to be a ready to go device. The effects, and some settings, can be changed or modified by the owner by editing the files on the internal microSD card. However it is not possible to modify the source code or reprogramme the microcontroller. This is only possible on the DVM7. While this doesn't explicitly say the DVM8 source code is not available I believe that, as the DVM7 source is available and the key differentiation between the two units is that the DVM7 is user modifiable and the DVM8 is not, the DVM8 source code does not need to be, and probably will not be, made available. -

Were the plans sizes from me? I think I probably still have the jars somewhere to check, but they were indeed from M&S. I think I did do some photo scaling to find the approximate size initially, but I’m afraid I can’t recall exactly. In the end it was what looked best against the dome from the available modern jars. Are the above ones from M&S? -

Hi @M.Sharif_3D I find that I couldn't for while find the video clip(?) but found it again now - the voice is brilliant! It has just the right amount of manic agitation/threatening menace to it - well done👍
