About This File

Papakura files for the classic Dalek. I have used most of these for my own build, still undecided if I will use the shoulders or make them in a more traditional way. The eye is my own slightly quirky design, although the size is correct, I have enhanced it a bit. The eye is only the front section I used the skirt hem for the back, which works well. The skirt hem is much deeper than is needed, so it will have to be cut down to the correct height, depending on what style of attachment you will be using. For the skirt hems I made this up and made a plaster mould of it. them knocked them out in paper mache, which works well.

That’s great.......small health warning about Pepakura files you may come across on the web, watch for open edges....marked red when you open them in Pepakura, often a file which has open edges within the model (like the NP shoulders shown on the page) are models which have not been designed with Pepakura in mind. Who ever made these files just takes a model and unfolds it, this usually leads to a model which is very hard to build and lickly won’t fit togeather when your done. Just keep an eye out for that, there is nothing more frustrating that getting all the way through a build only to find it won’t work.

@IsmarBiH Pep files for the skirt would basically be identical to the actual PDF skirt plans, but with about 240 A4 pages stuck together to make the templates.

I could do the skirt, but I’m not sure how useful it would be.

Found them helpful in converting to Obj files I can import into sketchup.... using them as the basis for Dalek Abbies shoulders
