Dalek Sec

Here's my take on Dalek Sec from "Doomsday" and "Daleks in Manhattan". Modelled in Blender and Textured with Substance Painter. Included are the fully rigged Blender version as well as an exported OBJ file. Use this in any renders you like, but please credit me. Do not redistribute or sell.

The Dalek Prime who would later become the Emperor is the first dalek and the one to Kill Davros in genesis, is the leader of the original/Renegade daleks in the novels and comics.

Dapol Dalek

A recreation of the iconic Dapol dalek figure.
The model is already rigged and texture, the materials can be modified rather easily allowing customization of the daleks.
The model was made in blender 3.6.2 so it's recommended to use that or later versions of blender.

exploding NSD

Here is my exploding NSD. the file comes in both a Blend file and an obj file. A few changes have been made since the render that I'm using as the screen shot. Namely, the model has had all Ironside parts from Stek removed and has been re-coloured as a bronze NSD. The explision was added in photoshop. The explosion had been added to the file for any who want it.

Exterminate 2012

Huge update of all my canon builds to date, plus a new canon build, the Death variant with projectile weapon. Expansion of NSD "family" with Emperor's Guard, Assault Dalek with Cutting Claw, Vault Dalek and Thay with damaged rear panels. Movie Daleks now have articulated claws. TV Daleks have movable "Exterminator" parts built into gun, where appropriate. Underside detail included for NSDs as a separate prop which can be deleted.
Four new non canon builds, as detailed in my build diary.
All models now have ERC, thanks to Mechmaster's tutorial.
Mainly procedurals used but a few textures where necessary.
Poser ready with Obj files included for use in other apps.
24 Daleks in all.

It is currently not rigged as I will probably do that in a later video. Likewise it does not yet contain other formats for other 3D platforms.
You are free to use the model as you see fit, and it was generated using a commercially licensed version of Cinema 4D.
The only stipulation is that you give me and Project Dalek a shout out in any derived works.
This model will be updated with rigging and other file formats in the future.

It was made in Cinema 4D R21, although it does not use any of the Studio edition features.
I have also included a Collada exported version of the model, so that users with different 3D animation programs can still open it.

Well, you all have been busy in the year I have been offline!
Great format to the "new-look" site, especially this resouce.
As such (and since my original posts have long gone) here is my Cinema 4D NSD once again. This is the version with controllers for the dome rotation, eye pivot angle, eye iris apperture, eye intesity, dome lights intensity, waist rotation angle, gun/plunger position, pluger extentsion/twist angle plus "dome/eye follow target", "gun follow target" and "dome lights intesity sync'd to sound file".
This is the extact model used in my compositing test...
and a quick test to demonstrate the dome/eye/gun tracking features...
and the dome lights/sound file sync feature...

I'm in my late 60's. I live in Australia and have always enjoyed Doctor Who from the very first episode aired here around 1965 when I was 9 years old. Thought how amazing it would be to have a Dalek but had no idea how or where to even begin UNTIL I came across this site. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to at least be able to start on a Dalek build and will detail my progress as it goes along.

I printed mine in PTEG, 235 nozzle, 60 Bed , no supports and it printed with no mess at all. I ran it at a 40 percent print speed, and the orientation was large cup facing down on my print. -

Moflash lenses appear to be slightly difficult these days. the best bet in my opinion is 3D printing them. there are many accurate models here that can be printed on any FDM printer you can find. there is a chance that you can find the lenses online to buy, but those sites can be slightly sketchy. depending on the filament you buy and the printer you have/find, they can be produced fairly accurately. filament can come as cheap as 17 dollars, but do keep in mind that they can some
