NSD Eye rear with the correct 12 Ribs - Correction of previous part on site
By Prefect1938
Hi, this is a correct part of Mr McGoo's Dalek eye which after printing I realised that the number of ribs was wrong. So I have changed it to 12 ribs with no other changes made.

NSD dome rotation gears
By Nimitz
This gear and pinion is designed to fit a Lazy Susan which has a diameter for the inner ring of 415mm. This Lazy Susan is the perfect size to be used on an NSD dome. it may work for other domes but I've not tested it with anything but an NSD dome. You'll need to print 2 pieces of both the "A" & "B" parts. the ends have lap joints for stability and the countersunk holes are for 10-32 size bolts. the height of the gear has been designed so that you can leave the rubber feet that come with the lazy susan on the inner ring in place and the gear will be the same height. you will need to drill holes in the gear where your rubber feet are so it will sit flush with the bottom of your dome rotation plate.
Note: the picture shows the gear sitting on the top of the dome rotation plate but that was just to take the picture. the gear is mounted on the underside of the dome rotation plate which is why it is the same height as the rubber feet on the inner ring so it sits flush

Here are the gcode files for the Dalek and weapons sliced and ready to print if anyone else would like to print one out Im using the Ender 3 Neo and have just kept the standard setting. Planet Supreme Dalek: Eye Stalk
By Necrosis
This is a download for the Planet Supreme Dalek eye stalk. The files are in .stl format making them easy to 3D print or to use as digital references/models. These parts are 1:1 scale and match the most recent revision of the Planet Supreme Dalek plans making it plug and play to print or easy to scale to your Daleks needs. I personally 3D printed these units in colored SLA giving a refined finished look. Recommend printing these parts slow and precise at 15% infill for best results with standard 3D printers. Torch light files are based on "Sparky_Butane's" file and cross referenced with the Planet Supreme Dalek build plans as well as adapted for use with other included files.
(Would love to see any print results from anyone who chooses to share on this thread)
Details:
Scale - 1:1 (In compliance with Planet Supreme Dalek Plans Version 3.2)
Parts included in this download - Eye Stalk * Eye/Torch Piece * 3 Stalk Discs * Eye Pivot
NOTE: For ease of assembly, parts have a 0.5mm to 1mm tolerance. The eye Pivot has a 12mm (1/2") hole in the center for a bolt and a larger hole on the backside that can be used to attach a control rod for the eye stalk.
I will keep these files up to date and if you have any suggestions or find any errors please let me know so that I may update the parts.

Drew' TDP 3D Model
By SketchTwitch
Hello everyone! I realized that there isn't a lot of files for the TDP build as it isn't as loved as the classic or 2005 Dalek models. Since I decided that I wanted to make the TDP as my first dalek build, I went ahead and modeled one of the plans from the forum. Attached is the zip file with all the parts individually, as well as a fully assembled model as STLs, at full size, though you can find the model on Onshape at: This link here incase you just want something specific.
I haven't printed anything myself yet besides the plunger at 50% just to test my supports, I will be printing a split version of the neck rings and the shoulder model for my build! If anyone has any questions or request let me know!

NSD Oils Seals With Skirt Mounts
By gazzer23
These take a long time to print and can be fiddly with all the screws. However, once printed out they are so easy to put on and take off.
Although I have made eight holes in the back plate, four screws are fine. They are extra in case of thread failure in the ring. You will need 4x3mm screws for each hemi plus 4xM2x6mm screws. They are for 100mm diameter hemispheres, either the clear plastic ones or the steel ones from China should be fine.

NSD Supreme Screw on Light cage w base
By DalekDucky
This is the screw-on light cage with base for the NSD Supreme Dalek complete with the dome base.
Printing
The inner base prints hallow, I recommend you print it on one of its side with support on the baseplate only. If your bridges are well calibrated it prints no problem for the top of the print (opposite side)
The base follows the contour of the NSD dome perfectly.
There are four holes in the base to screw onto to the dome. Two screws is likely all you need (Top and bottom) but why take a chance
I included a guide to help you properly place the pilot holes on your dome for the base, c/w a little arrow on the template as well as inside the base piece for correct orientation.
The light cage just screws on top of the base. Making both painting and changing bulbs easy.

3d Printed Plunger
By Jack Grace
A 3d Print file for a Plunger, may be a little angular but nothing an upscale and some sandpaper can't fix. Already has a hole in the bottom for any screws or axles or whatever your classic dalek has planned. The lip was crafted by yours truly to match the standard movie dalek, but can be used on any classic dalek.
I'm super excited because it is one of the first 3d design files I created on my own, but feel free to modify it however you want.

Mark 3 Dome stl files for lazy susan bearing ring
By Adam Gready
This is my attempt at a Mark 3 dome with a shelf designed in for a lazy susan bearing ring. I have 3d printed and assembled this but i haven't actually assembled the dome using the bearing ring so I can't guarantee it is exactly what you are looking for. The files include the complete dome, the dome cut into quarters with the lower brim separated into 1/8ths. Also included is a gluing jig for aligning the brim pieces which seemed to work quite well. The dome quarters wont fit on a 200x200 bed sorry. I have struggled to slice it up finer as Tinkercad was struggling with my request. It can be cut easily enough using meshmixer and if you slice the top of the dome off you can get 1/8th size pieces smaller enough to fit on a smaller bed. Please note all files are at 1/10th scale so make sure you increase by 1000% in your slicer!

Custom Emperor Design Figure
By Jack Grace
Hi folks!
My pal taught me how to use 3d print software and I basically went into a fugue state and made this in a couple of hours.
I quite like his look of him, but it's obvious I'm a beginner by how I used repeated basic functions to create complex shapes somewhat inefficiently.
My pal is gonna let me upload her files on here too, and I'll clearly label them as such, but you can probably tell ours apart because my code is always about twice as long as it could be.
My emperor is designed to scale with 5" figures and combines the general shape of a TV21/comic emperor with the looming size of an Evil Emperor.

Classic Dalek Gun Collar
By Aaron J Climas
I've made so many of these little things over the years, lining up the holes, drilling them straight. Cutting the pipe into thin slices.
Hopefully this saves other people fluffing around with drills and pipe cutters.
Edit- I've printed this and it fits *perfectly* on 1" tube. It could possibly be 0.5mm smaller all around, but that will vary on a print by print basis, I guess.

Imperial Dalek: Gun Box Surrounds
By Necrosis
This is a download for the Imperial Dalek Gun Box Surrounds. The files are in .stl format making them easy to 3D print or to use as digital references/models. This part is 1:1 scale and match the most recent revision of the Imperial Dalek plans making it plug and play to print or easy to scale to your Daleks needs. I personally 3D printed these units to create a mold that allows me to cast the part with perfect detail, SLA printers work great to get to that finished look quicker. As noted in the plans; the original props where easily damaged during filming do to the ball joint openings being thin, I would suggest slightly flexible resin for casting or 25% infill for plastic printing to give greater resistance to stress. The parts look great as 3D prints alone with some filler and primer and detail work. The surround piece has a 101mm recess in it to allow a 100mm ball joint to stick out as they do in the show. Included in the download is another file that is the same but without the recess for those that don't want it. Recommend printing these parts slow and precise at 15% or 25% infill for best results.
(Would love to see any print results from anyone who chooses to share on this thread)
Details:
Scale - 1:1 (In compliance with Imperial Dalek Plans Version 3.5)
Parts included in this download - Gun Box Surround w/recess - Gun Box Surround w/no recess
I will keep these files up to date and if you have any suggestions or find any errors please let me know so that I may update the parts.

NSD Light Cage with Thread
By DalekDucky
NB: Single zipped folder or 6 individual files - your choice
So I wanted a light cage that did not show screws when assembled and came up with this solution.
It's essentially a remix of @Ultrastar Light cage with the following modifications.
Added thread to the lower part of the cage plus the inner part of the threaded piece to be attached to the Dalek head The hole for the base and top is slightly larger to make screwing around the cage easier no change to his support
In this file I also included the surround part I did for my bulb using a trailer light. The spring from the light lid holds it in place to the lower part so no attachments required.
I used a Ping Pong bulb inside the moflash. so you may want to use some hot glue to secure that part.
The lower part has indentation to allow for my trailer base, if you don't need that, that part is low enough that should not be seen in your cage.
Enjoy
P.S. You will need to rotate a few pieces for print. support needed for some parts depending on your printer calibration.

I'm in my late 60's. I live in Australia and have always enjoyed Doctor Who from the very first episode aired here around 1965 when I was 9 years old. Thought how amazing it would be to have a Dalek but had no idea how or where to even begin UNTIL I came across this site. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to at least be able to start on a Dalek build and will detail my progress as it goes along.

I'm in my 50s and have since I was a boy watching Dr Who in the 70s always dreamed of making a Dalek for fun, now I have the time and resources, along with your forum's help it's time to live that dream.
I have watched some of the members videos, and I am very impressed with what I have seen.
Long live the Who verse.
I will document my progress and share any innovations I make
